Youth Entrepreneurship Symposium (YES) is an annual youth-run entrepreneurship symposium organised by nEbO for youths aged 17 – 25. The theme of YES this year is “STARTUP GATEWAY” with an aim to widen the students’ exposure to global entrepreneurial climates while equipping them with relevant business skills. This is to encourage our local entrepreneurs-to-be to have a global mindset and ride on Singapore’s advantageous global position.
4 of our TMC-nEbO ambassadors, Cindi, Estelle, Cyril and Raven represented TMC Academy to participate in YES2016. This is a group photo with their nEbO advisor.
Through this event, they are not only exposed to different business fields and become equipped with relevant skills, but also explore their future prospects with nEbO in the entrepreneurship scene.
All of them enjoyed themselves very much and are already looking forward to YES2017!

it's great to see students gaining exposure to global entrepreneurial climates through events like yes. the focus on practical business skills and a global mindset is exactly what young aspiring entrepreneurs need. the experience for the ambassadors, cindi, estelle, cyril, and raven, sounds genuinely valuable, moving beyond theory into real-world exploration. such initiatives can really shape future career paths. Solid recap. Side note for the TMC marcomms team: your "Latest News" feed has hundreds of student-achievement posts from 2016 onward but no real way for prospective students to filter by discipline, year, or competition type. A sortable "Student Achievements" landing page would convert way better for international applicants. I help small SG academies build that quickly with a copyweb ai — Figma mockup to working filter page in an evening. Worth a chat.
Good to see TMC sending students to YES — global-startup exposure at 17-25 is what most curricula are missing. I help with comms for a small youth-entrepreneurship program in SEA and we started using an Banana AI tool to make ambassador-spotlight reels from event photos (group shots get turned into individual 10-second profile clips for socials). Way better engagement than static recaps. Hope Cindi, Estelle, Cyril and Raven kept going with nEbO.
I’ve attended similar youth entrepreneurship programs, and they really help you understand how fast the global business landscape is changing while building practical confidence. It can feel intense trying to absorb so many ideas at once, so I usually take short breaks with Polytrack to clear my mind before jumping back in.
The theme STARTUP GATEWAY sounds really inspiring. I can see how the 4 ambassadors enjoyed learning new skills and exploring their future Nano Banana Pro
