Q. Why did you choose to study Hospitality & Tourism?
Before my student life in TMC Academy, I was a 17 year old that was looking for an institute that enables me to learn what I am most interested in, which was Hospitality and Tourism. I wanted to study about the world, about people and how tourism has evolved over the years. It is such a broad topic for both hospitality and tourism because there are many key aspects in it.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1506933150893{padding-top: 20px !important;padding-right: 20px !important;padding-bottom: 20px !important;padding-left: 20px !important;}”]
Q. Why did you choose to study TMC Academy?
I chose TMC because of the way lectures were carried out – in smaller class size as compared to other schools. It meant that every student can get enough attention in learning and lecturers will be able to focus on every one of us to teach and advise us on our work. This was a crucial point for me as the learning environment was important in ensuring that we were able to learn in a conducive and effective manner. We were also able to get practical experience with the use of facilities like the Accommodation room and Food & Beverage Room, which was a bonus![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]
At the Food and Beverage Room, where students practice their skills in table setting and serving.

Q. How would you describe student life at TMC Academy?
My student life in TMC was a memorable one. I would look forward to go for lectures, discussing about subjects and working together with my classmates on group projects. It never felt boring in class as I enjoyed the engaging lectures that constantly spark our curiosity to learn more.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]
Q. We heard you actively participated and organised school activities and events?
We had our own events held in the campus, which was organized by us students. An example would be the Cultural Fest where students shared their culture through food and games. I also got the chance to assist with the preparation for TMC’s MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) signing with FBMA (Food and Beverage Management Association). It was a fun way of learning and being able to use what we have learnt into planning and executing the event successfully.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]
Q. Share your fondest memories in school.
In TMC, we are with a good mix of international students, which enables us to learn about their culture, and at the same time allow us to understand each other better. I have thus grown closer to some of my foreigner friends even till today! It was truly a great experience for me in TMC.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]
