TMC Establishes Leading Position for Psychology in Private Education at JobsCentral Learning TED Awards 2019
"Winning the award again this year is an affirmation that TMC Academy is able to stand out in a highly competitive industry, and confirms the belief that we have in the quality of our Psychology courses."
Dr Austin Ang Senior Lecturer, School of Psychology
TMC Academy has been awarded the Winner in Higher Education – Psychology & Counselling, in the annual JobsCentral Learning Training and Development (T.E.D.) Awards! This is the third time TMC Academy is receiving the award in the Psychology category.
What is the JobsCentral Learning Training and Development (T.E.D.) Awards?
The JCL T.E.D. Awards are conceptualised to recognize and award exceptional Private Education Institutions and Corporate Training Providers who have developed a path-breaking approach towards addressing learning needs, solving learning challenges and demonstrated success in conceptualising and delivering category specific learning initiatives.
The Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the Knowledge and Process Partner in this year’s awards. A jury of experienced, reputed and independent mix of industry leaders brought together by SHRM reviews the awards application forms based on various evaluation parameters including a) Innovation in the Initiative, b) Impact on Stakeholders and c) Sustainability and Scalability.
Over the years, we have produced many first class honours students for the Psychology degree courses awarded by the University of Northampton, and many of these students progressed from our Higher Diploma course. A good percentage of our degree graduates have gone on to pursue their higher studies in local or foreign universities, including Ellycia, who has completed her Masters in London.
The success of our graduates is a testament to our high standards in delivering quality and industry-relevant academic courses.
Once again, congratulations to the School of Psychology and thank you all in TMC who contributed to this success. A course cannot be successful without good lecturers, a reliable support system and diligent students.
