[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On 11th of September, TMC Academy Mass Communication student, Patrick Wu, had the chance to visit the newly launched Liquid Studio, by Accenture Singapore.
The event took place at Raffles City Tower, where participants were invited to visit the first Liquid Studio built in Asia. The Liquid Studio helps clients around the region take advantage of new innovations and accelerate software application development cycles. The studio features an open environment where clients work with highly skilled Accenture engineers to turn concepts into applications and solutions with speed and agility.
To kick start the event, an Accenture representative and the president of SCS welcomed the guests with an opening speech, accompanied by refreshments. The participants were then invited to a tour in Liquid Studio. It is the first of its kind in Asia and the participants were lucky to see the cutting-edge technologies displayed including VR (Virtual Reality), facial recognition and drones. The tour guides from Accenture were patient and professional while answering participants’ questions. As photo-taking was not allowed in the studio, we only have this photo from the web to give a glimpse of how amazing the place is![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

My favourite component was the facial recognition technology, which can play an important role in fighting crimes.”
