[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On the last Friday of July, we started off with an introductory programme to the TMC campus. As most of our students hail from other countries, our Student Services Support colleagues played tour guide for half a day, showing them places of interest and dining options in the vicinity.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Last Saturday, the orientation continued with a morning at the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Organised by the TMC Institute of Public Relations of Singapore (IPRS) Student Chapter Club and supported by the TMC Student Club, this Nature Learning Trail is a bonding session for both students and staff, while learning about Singapore’s oldest garden, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Participants are required to form groups to complete designated tasks at various stations along the Bukit Timah Core trail, also known as an ideal place for bird watching. The activities encourage creativity, teamwork and helped foster friendships along the way. There was a ton of laughter and everyone enjoyed the games planned out. The winning group received coffee gift cards for their hard work under the sun![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]

Urban myth says singing a song uses up around 100 calories, now that is the best exercise ever!
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]After a morning of taking in an abundance of Vitamin E from the bright sun, it was time to feed our hungry students and switch to a relaxing afternoon at the Principal’s house (not office, thankfully).
Our Principal, Dr Chin and Executive Director, Ms Yeow kick started the party with an obligatory welcome speech. Thereafter, students were treated to a sumptuous lunch prepared by the staff of TMC Academy. More games and chitchat sessions ensued, with some students engaged in a game of pool and belting out ballads at the karaoke room![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
Welcoming everyone to TMC Academy, Singapore!
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]It always feels like family here at TMC Academy, especially for our foreign students who have to adjust to the culture and language, while managing their studies. We hope this orientation helped to settle our students in this new environment and let’s start this study term on a good note![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
