Student Orientation (July 2018)
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Welcome to TMC Academy! Our student orientation this term brings about the spirit of team building through simple yet interactive games. The day started with regular programming of an introduction to the TMC student experience and a campus tour. One of the highlights would be our newly refurbished courtyard, surrounded by lush greenery and equipped with plenty of seats – a perfect outdoor relaxation spot with friends during class breaks![/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”23886″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” onclick=”link_image”][vc_column_text]Before we further digress, let’s hop back to the second part of the orientation – GAMES! Our students’ artistic skills were put to the test with a round of blindfold drawing. Teammates have to direct their blindfolded classmate to complete a drawing of a gingerbread man outline. With brilliant teamwork and clear instructions given, no tables were vandalized during this game! In continuation of getting our creative juices flowing, our students were engaged in an all-time favourite Pictionary. Though this is the first time our students have met, the chemistry is pretty awesome![/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”23887″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” onclick=”link_image”][vc_column_text]Read about our previous Student Orientations here:

The orientation games sound like so much fun! Blindfold drawing and Pictionary are great icebreakers. I wish I could join next time! By the way, I found some cool ai video prompts online that could make a recap video.
Great overview of TMC’s July 2018 orientation. New students often photograph noticeboards and handouts, then retype them. Imagen a Texto handles that with a Espacio en blanco approach: OCR runs locally, so files never leave your device. That means less retyping and cleaner notes during busy orientation week.
The blindfold drawing game sounds like a great icebreaker, especially with clear instructions to avoid any mishaps. To help create a highlight reel from the day's events, I used an ai stem splitter to extract the game sound effects from the recordings. It made editing the recap video much easier.
The orientation sounds like a great way to connect with classmates! When sharing photos from events like this on social media, I sometimes use a text to bold tool to make my captions stand out more.
Just like in the game, we stumble, fail, and get frustrated. But with patience, persistence, and rhythm, we learn to push forward and eventually succeed. That’s why Geometry Dash connects so deeply with players: it reminds us that progress isn’t about never failing, but about never giving up.
