Expansion of Campuses

Expansion in Uzbekistan

In 2021, TMC Academy opened the TMC Institute in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. In the past three years, the Institute has opened three more campuses in Tashkent, with a ground-breaking ceremony for TMCI’s fourth campus on August 26, 2024.

This event, attended by the Deputy Minister of Education and the City’s Mayor, celebrated the beginning of an ambitious project: a state-of-the-art, 8-story building covering 100,000 square feet dedicated to teaching and learning. The building is anticipated to be completed by October 2025.

Campus in Myanmar

In November this year, TMC Academy, together with the British University College (TMC Academy’s subsidiary in Myanmar), celebrated the graduation of over 340 students who were graduating with the University of Sunderland’s BA (Hons) in Business Management, BSc in Computer Science and MBA programs.

With the growth and expansion of these campuses, TMC Academy now has four campuses in different countries:

• Singapore

• Uzbekistan; and

• Myanmar

Expanding into other countries is part of the Academy’s commitment to fostering a global perspective and creating a multicultural environment. This is in addition to the international students from over twenty-five countries TMC Academy hosts on its Singapore Campus.

Expansion of Degree Courses and partnerships Advancing Education

Two new courses

In 2024, TMC Academy launched two new courses that the University of Northampton awards. These are Bachelor of Science (Honours), Software Engineering (Top-Up), and Bachelor of Arts (Honours), Creative Film, Television and Digital Media Production (Top Up).

In addition to new degree courses, TMC Academy is also establishing new partnerships with several international universities.

New partnerships

Recent collaborations include agreements with Qingdao Huanghai University and Chongqing University and discussions with Tsinghua University. These partnerships help to foster academic exchanges, enhance educational standards, and provide students with broader opportunities for international exposure.

These partnerships and agreements align with the Academy’s vision, which is dedicated to cultivating crucial leadership qualities such as critical thinking, problem-solving, emotional intelligence, and excellent communication skills—essential in current business environments.
