Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management
(with 6 months Industrial Attachment)
The Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management programme aims to provide students with the basic knowledge and skills in the hospitality and tourism industry; and provide students with the necessary foundation for undergraduate studies in related fields. The programme also aims to enhance students’ employability by providing opportunities for on-job training through industrial attachment where students will be able to apply their knowledge in the workplace.
Upon completion of this programme, students may choose to continue working or progress to TMC Higher Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management or Tourism, Hospitality and Leisure Management.
Full-Time: 8 months* + 6 months of Industrial Attachment
Part-Time: 10 months*
* may be completed in 6 months (full-time) or 8 months (part-time) depending on English proficiency.

Graduation Requirements
Students who successfully complete and pass the modules stipulated in the course structure will be awarded the Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management from TMC Academy.

Academic Qualification
Any of the following or equivalent:
Obtained at least a C6 at GCE O level in any 1 subject
NITEC or Higher NITEC
Integrated Programme (1 pass at a level equivalent to Secondary 4)
TMC Certificate in Tertiary Foundation Programme
English Proficiency
Any of the following or equivalent:
At least a C6 at GCE O level English
Completed TMC Certificate in Tertiary Foundation Programme
Completed a prior Diploma where medium of instruction is English
Pass an English online test and an interview with the Dean/HOD/designate
Mature Candidates
Mature Candidates of ≥30 years old with 8 years of work experience may be admitted in lieu of academic qualification

Completed TMC Certificate in Tertiary Foundation Programme
Completed a prior Diploma where the medium of instruction is English
Attend and pass Certificate in English up to Upper Intermediate A level
Attend and pass EAP Level 3
Mature Candidates
Mature Candidates of ≥30 years old with 8 years of work experience may be admitted in lieu of academic qualification
