Understanding Cybercrime by Professor Lachlan MacKinnon

We are honored to have Professor Lachlan MacKinnon, Professor and Head of Department of Computing and Information Systems Smart Systems Technologies Department from University of Greenwich who came down to have a talk yesterday evening. The talk was attended by students from the School of IT. Topics of the talk include • What constitutes a cybercrime • How does it affect individual, businesses or even the national • The challenges of cybercrime in developed countries • The current threats (even the threats which happened within the last 10 days) The session ended with a Q&A. Students were eager to ask questions involving cybercrime and how it’ll affect the future of IT. It was a fruitful talk by Professor Mackinnon and it has greatly benefitted the students who attended.
