The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) International Toursim & Hospitaity Management (Top Up) programme is designed to provide students with the strategic and operational expertise they need to successfully manage tourism and hospitality businesses in an international context. The programme incorporates an extensive range of management concepts related to tourism and hospitality, including consumer behaviour, strategic and project planning, people development and leadership, sustainability as well as operational and tactical responses to common business problems. The overall aim is to produce qualified, enthusiastic and forward-thinking graduates who have sound academic and practical experience of management in the tourism and hospitality industries and who can exceed the expectations of employers.
Full-Time: 9 months*
Part-Time: 13 months*
* Duration may be shorter depending on calendar approved by the university.
Part-time Class Schedule
Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 7pm to 10pm
Additional/Make-up Class: Wednesday, 7pm to 10pm

Graduation Requirements
Students who successfully complete and pass the modules stipulated in the course structure will be awarded the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in International Tourism & Hospitality Management (Top Up) from University of Northampton.

17 years old
Academic Qualification
Obtained at least a Pass in any one of the following:
TMC Higher Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management
TMC Higher Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality and Leisure Management
Relevant Polytechnic Diploma*
Advanced / Higher Diploma in ( Hospitality / Tourism ) from Private Education Institutions*
*Assessed on a case by case basis. Relevant Polytechnic Diploma and other Higher/Advanced Diploma holders may have to obtain a TMC Higher Diploma prior to the Top Up degree.
English Qualification
If English is not your first language, you will be required to have any of the following or equivalent:
Completed a Higher/Advanced Diploma where medium of instruction is English
IELTS 6.0 or equivalent
Attend and pass EAP Level 4
Age
17 years old
Academic Qualification
Completed High School or Year 12
English Proficiency
Any of the following or equivalent:

Mature Candidates
Mature Candidates of ≥30 years old with 8 years of work experience may be admitted in lieu of academic qualification
