Success in life is as dependent on luck as it is on hard work, so sometimes trying harder does change things. Sadly, sometimes trying harder makes things worse, and no matter how hard we try, we don’t always get what we want. Not getting what we desire creates negative feelings, including envy, hate and despair. Our struggle with these strong and ugly emotions is natural and does not classify us as emotionally disturbed. However, we can train our emotional `muscles’ to manage negativity more effectively. Physical fitness training improves physical health; Emotional Fitness improves emotional health. Emotional Fitness Training exercises strengthen our ability to deal with life’s unavoidable stresses and hurts.
