Diploma in Information Technology
The Diploma in Information Technology programme provides a foundation in Information Technology studies. Students will gain the essential practical skills required in the computing and information processing industry of today.
This programme aims to produce well-trained personnel with effective and practical knowledge in the ever-changing world of Information Technology, and being capable of making a real contribution to the work place. It also aims to establish an international standard of high quality training leading to universally recognised qualifications.

Full Time: 8 months
Part Time: 10 months
Delivery:
This course is delivered entirely in Singapore. Students benefit from access to locally qualified lecturers and a wide range of academic resources provided by TMC Academy.
Learning is conducted through a blend of lectures, tutorials, workshops, seminars, and presentations. Students are supported with comprehensive learning materials, including lecture notes and recommended reading references such as books, publications, academic articles, and relevant websites.

Course Assessment
Assessment of the modules includes examinations, assignments, projects, presentations, class tests, and/or practical tests.
Graduation Requirements
Students who successfully complete and pass the modules stipulated in the course structure will be awarded the Diploma in Information Technology from TMC Academy.

Academic Qualification
Any of the following or equivalent:
Obtained at least a C6 at GCE O level in any 1 subject
NITEC or Higher NITEC
Integrated Programme (1 pass at a level equivalent to Secondary 4)
TMC Certificate in Tertiary Foundation Programme
English Proficiency
Any of the following:
At least a C6 at GCE O level English
Completed TMC Certificate in Tertiary Foundation Programme
Completed a prior Diploma where medium of instruction is English
Pass an English online test and an interview with the Dean/HOD/designate
Mature Candidates
Mature Candidates of ≥30 years old with 8 years of work experience may be admitted in lieu of academic qualification

Completed TMC Certificate in Tertiary Foundation Programme
Completed a prior Diploma where the medium of instruction is English
Attend and pass Certificate in English up to Upper Intermediate A level
Attend and pass EAP Level 3
Mature Candidates
Mature Candidates of ≥30 years old with 8 years of work experience may be admitted in lieu of academic qualification
