The Preparatory Course for Admission to Government Schools is specially designed for international students who want to participate in the Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS) to enter Secondary 1, 2 or 3 in Singapore Government Schools.
Students can start these preparatory courses in their home town with their parents close by and fly over to Singapore for 5 to 10 weeks for intensive lessons and revision conducted by teachers in TMC.

Teaching and Assessment
- Teaching and learning
- There will be a combination of guided studies, lectures and tutorials.
At least 12 to 14+ years old as at 1 January of the year of admission to government schools
Year 6 or equivalent qualification
Must have one of the following:
- Pass Hawthorn Placement Test at Beginner Level
- Attend and pass Hawthorn Certificate in English up to Beginner Level
- IELTS score of 3.0 or equivalent

All the course fees stated below are inclusive of course materials, examination fee and lab fee unless stated otherwise. Repeat fees and other administrative fees are listed in the Miscellaneous Fee List.

Fee Protection Scheme Fee
0.75% of (Course Fee less grant + Medical Insurance + International Student Administrative Fee) OR $25 whichever is higher
Medical Insurance Fee
$80 Per Course Per Year
All fees subject to prevailing GST of 7%
