Course Objectives

This course is intended for entry-level employees or mid-career staff in the F&B services or hospitality sectors who wish to pursue a career as a bartender.


Course Content

This course comprises of 3 Learning Units which emphasize on the application of knowledge skills and therefore, learners would be expected to actively participate in the various learning activities. In addition, there would be an integration of facilitated learning in class, practical activities along with the use of bar tools and equipment. The assessment in this course is designed to suit the nature of competencies developed in each learning unit. The assessment will adopt a holistic approach in the selection of assessment strategies to appropriately assess the required knowledge and ability standards.

  • Preferably 1-2 years of experience in F&B industry

SkillsFuture Credit

All Singaporeans aged 25 and above can use their $500 SkillsFuture Credit from the government to pay for a wide range of approved skills-related courses. Visit the SkillsFuture Credit website to choose from the courses available on the SkillsFuture Credit course directory.

Funding Requirements
In order to enjoy the funding, learners must
(1) achieve at least 75% course attendance and
(2) successfully complete assessment and certified as ‘Competent’.

Enterprise-Level Absentee Payroll (only for company sponsored trainings)
$4.50 per hour , capped at $100,000
Note on AP:

1 AP funding is not applicable to on-the-job training (OJT) hours.
2 AP funding will be computed based on the actual number of training hours attended by the trainee.
