TMC Academy Visits Korea!

Last weekend, our representative from TMC Academy took off on a jet plane to Korea, to attend the 48th Korea Study Abroad Fair, alongside with our university partner, Concordia Overseas Education.

Over the 2-day fair held in Seoul, we got to interact with and understand better the requirements of our Korean students. Our Hawthorn English programme remained the most enquired, followed by our Hospitality and Tourism programme.

Why Hospitality & Tourism?

As our course consultant, Choi In Young relates, “The Hospitality and Tourism industry in Korea is booming due to the constant increase in travelers. All thanks to the unwavering Korean wave of cultural economy and pop culture. This creates plenty of job opportunities.”

TMC Academy offers pathways to complete your degree in UK, Australia or Switzerland. This comes with the option of taking up an internship abroad! Here’s what our hospitality and tourism students have to say:

Holiday Plans? Level up your English at TMC!

Earlier this year, we welcomed a group of 70 students from Korea, attending our Holiday English programme. It seems like a popular choice amongst students as they seek to escape the harsh winter while leveling up their English standards in Sunny Singapore. The Holiday English programme is customisable in terms of duration and learning objectives. More often than not, students return for our Certificate in English programme, which consists of 9 levels, from Beginner to Advanced.

During the trip, we also met up with our partners in Gangnam, sharing recent updates at TMC – including adjustments in course fees and duration (for the better!), study grants, new facilities (outdoor recreation area with bbq!) and new honours degree courses. We keep the good things coming – stay tuned!
