Hawthorn English Excursion to Little India
Our Hawthorn English students are back for another experiential learning session, this time to tie in with the recent Deepavali celebrations. Before our students moved outdoors, they had a hand at Henna painting, a traditional art used for celebrations amongst the Indians.
We also had a certificate presentation to our Holiday English Programme students. We hope you have enjoyed your time learning the English language here in Singapore!
Since Little India is a stone’s throw away (an 8 mins walk according to Google Maps), our students were whisked away to where the festivities and celebrations continue for our Hindu friends. This was not only a good chance for students to put what they’ve learnt to use, they also get to learn more about Singapore’s multi-racial culture.
Learning English at Hawthorn is more than just fun! Our teachers constantly experiment with engaging teaching methods to ease the steep learning curve some may have, and allow advanced learners to further hone their abilities. You will be surprised at how some students have progressed throughout their learning journey at Hawthorn English.
