The programme will be delivered using a combination
of teaching approaches including personal contact,
audio, video and computer based methods. In addition,
the University of Greenwich also has detailed learning
resource materials that would be used by our staff
to support the delivery of the programme. The students
will also be given additional work to do outside the
scheduled contact time.
Some of the learning resource materials provided for
the students include unit details on the student intranet,
references for further reading as appropriate from
books, professional journals, publications, articles
and websites. Workshops and tutorials will be organised
on a regular basis in the classroom environment, and
staff from TMC will be in frequent contact with the
students.
The CMS Academy in the University of Greenwich has
created two electronic forums. The staff forum will
allow tutors from all approved centres to communicate
with each other in order to discuss aspects of teaching,
learning and assessment, and to promote the dissemination
of good practice between centres. The student forum
allows students at different centres to communicate
with each other, with the intention of fostering an
environment of self-help and bringing students together
on a University of Greenwich programme.
