The programme will be delivered using a combination
of teaching approaches including personal contact,
audio, video and computer based methods. In addition,
the University of Greenwich also has detailed learning
resources materials that would be used by our staff
to support the delivery of the programme. The students
will also be given additional work to be carried outside
the scheduled contact time.
Some of the learning resource materials provided
for the students include unit details on the student
intranet, references for further reading as appropriate
from books, professional journals, publications, articles
and websites. Workshops and tutorials will be organised
on a regular basis in the classroom environment, and
staff from TMC will be in frequent contact with the
students.
Online learning resources in the form of BannerWEB
provides individual student access to online database
useful in research as well as access to home pages
of courses enrolled. These pages includes course information
including Course handbook, Assessments, a Reading
list, Course material, past exam papers, contacts
and "my grades" link, providing direct access
to grades attained on assessments.
UOG also have an online forum which allows students
at different centres to communicate with each other,
with the intention of fostering an environment of
self-help and bringing students together on the University
of Greenwich programme.
