This policy governs the appeal for students against their official results.
All students are encouraged to read up the Student Handbook for more details on the appeal procedures.
For Proprietary Programmes (Hawthorn English and TMC Certificate, Diploma and Higher Diploma)
Any appeals against the decision of the Examinations Board shall be dealt with in accordance with TMC’s Assessment Regulations.
All appeals will be considered upon payment of an appeal fee.
100% of the Appeal Fee paid will be refunded upon the successful outcome of the appeal.To discourage frivolous appeals, there will be no refund for unsuccessful appeals.
Students will be notified via email in regards to the appeal outcome within one month from the appeal deadline.
For External Degree Programmes
Students will have to submit their written appeal letter and supporting documents to the external partner via the Student Service Course Administrator. It will be subjected to the university’s approval.
