BSc (Hons) Games and MultimediaTechnologies (Year 3 Top Up)

Entry Requirements: Higher Diploma in Interactive Games Design, relevant Polytechnic Diplomas. Students graduating from this degree programme will be able to apply for a number of varied careers in the entertainment industry. The main focus is for successful graduates to work in the games industry (whether that be console/PC/Web/Mobile based, or a combination of these), but the skills acquired on the programme will also enable students to apply for other positions such as multimedia specialists, video editors/producers, audio editors/producers, 3D/2D animators, web design & development roles and many other exciting areas within creative computing environments.

MSc Information Systems Management

Entry Requirements: A good first degree in an information systems or computing related subject. Upon successful completion of this master's programme students should be proficient in the development of internet, web and database technologies. They will also have developed the project management skills required for IT consultancy and strategic decision making. Students graduating from ISM would typically be in a position to become IT consultants or IT managers.

The University of Greenwich has the most satisfied students in London

"Greenwich has scooped top place in the London league table for student satisfaction, ahead of some of the most prestigious institutions in the capital.

The Sunday Times, which published its annual University Guide yesterday, says: ?The most satisfied students in London are to be found at the University of Greenwich. With an overall percentage score of 77.2% in the national student satisfaction survey, it ranks 35th nationally.? And it says students at the Greenwich campus ?have some of the most exquisite university grounds in the country? ....."

Warmly Hosting International Students

"Anthony Ng Kwee Siong, 36, the boss of a local repair business, who graduated from local private school TMC Education Group. He has helped host international students studying at his alma mater for the past five years.

Anthony is a Singaporean. He graduated from a Monash University part-time degree programme at TMC Education five years ago.

When interviewed, he said that his experience at the school was a positive one. When the school started recruiting more international students, he did not mind returning to help host these students even though he had already graduated.

He goes to the airport once every quarter, picking up international students arriving in Singapore for the first time and sending them to their hostel or other lodging locations. He picks up up to 40 students each quarter. In addition, he is also renting out two rooms in his home to international students...."

For the past few intakes, Chin Kon Yeun has invited batches of students, local and international, to his home for a barbeque so that they can mingle and make new friends.

It's a unique orientation event that helps to make them feel welcome while giving them the chance to "experience local hospitality", ....... "

University of Greenwich BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance and LCCI Level 3 Diploma in Accounting

University of Greenwich Accounting and Finance programmes are ranked in the UK top five by the National Student Satisfaction Survey (NSSS) 2008.  The BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance programme is the leading largest Accounting and Finance programme in the UK. The programme was compared to 70 UK Accounting and Finance departments/subject groups surveyed.

LCCI graduates can enter the final year of the University of Greenwich BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance degree provided they meet the following conditions:

  • Must have completed the LCCI level 3 Diploma within a period of 1 year.
  • Must take and pass the following TMC ‘Bridging’ modules:
    • Advanced Financial Accounting
    • Cost and Management Accounting
    • Investment & Planning Techniques
    • Business Law

Intake Details:

The BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance degree has intakes in:

  • January
  • July

The TMC Bridging programme has both full and part-time intakes (part-time students take 2 modules per semester).  Intakes are as follows:

Weathering the recession storm

When do we need to take risks during these troubled times? Should we consider a job that might have been seen as "beneath us" a year ago? ........ "

TMC Given HEALTH Award

TMC is pleased to be given the Singapore HEALTH (Helping Employees Achieve Life-Time Health) Award (Bronze) in 2008. This award by the Health Promotion Board recognises organisations with commendable workplace health promotion programmes to help their employees lead healthy and vibrant lives.   

The Singapore HEALTH Award distinguishes TMC as an employer with a caring culture that promotes employees’ well-being and health at work.
