BEGINNER TO ADVANCED
Students will build a solid foundation of English skills they can use to communicate in vocational, casual and academic environments. We emphasise speaking, writing, reading, and listening, as well as grammar. Classes are designed so that students have many opportunities to communicate with their classmates.
ACADEMIC ENGLISH
Students will learn advanced reading and writing skills, as well as vocabulary building. They will work on the basics of academic writing and give oral presentations. The course will also teach students the different skills needed to do well on the IELTS.
IELTS PREPARATION
Students will refine their language skills in speaking, writing, reading, and listening in preparation for the IELTS exam. During the course, students will be taught the format and structure of the exam, as well as important exam strategies. This course is only for advanced students. It is recommended that students take the Strategies for Academic Success class before they take the IELTS course. We pride ourselves on the quality of our teachers and our class size. Our smaller class size means heightened teacher/student interaction.
Short Courses - Holiday English
This programme is suited for:- Individual students who will stay in Singapore for 2 – 4 weeks and want to study English in one of our pre-existing classes. Students must be at least 13 years old. They will be given a placement test to ensure that they join a class appropriate to their level.
- Large groups of students who are visiting Singapore for a few days and want to attend some English classes specially prepared for them. Classes may be focused on special areas including writing, reading, speaking, listening, English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and other subjects as requested.
