TMC has two campuses with a total floor area of more than 74,000 sq ft. The two campuses at JalanPemimpin and Peninsula Plaza are easily accessible and conveniently located near to the MRT Station. | Library | ||
|
TMC Academy maintains libraries in both JalanPemimpin and Peninsula Plaza Campuses. Our libraries operate from Mondays through Fridays, and Saturdays to facilitate students’ need for academic resources in support of their studies. Library operating hours are as follows: Mondays to Fridays 9:00 am – 8:30 pm TMC Library in JalanPemimpin Campus (Main Campus) has a seating capacity of fifty (50). Sixteen (16) cubicles or nooks are specifically designed for individual studying making the library more comfortable to students and a favorable place to study. The library is equipped with a quiet room to separate students who want to use the room for small group discussions. Both our libraries have computer terminals and wireless connections for web access. Printing and photocopying services are also provided. Our libraries maintain a database system which holds the complete list of all library collections. The library system provides loan and return services to students and an Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) is readily available to students for search purposes to the main catalogue. A progressive range of subject comprises the library collections in support of the academic curriculum of TMC Academy with over 2,000 titles and 4,500 textbooks. Management, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Media/Mass Communications, Hospitality/Tourism Industry, Computer/I.T., Psychology and Law Books are the main collections that the library houses. General Certificate of Education (GCE) books, Literature and Language as general references. The academic body continuously develops and updates library collections by acquiring more print and non-print resources alike to cater to the growing demands of courses that TMC offers. |

| Mass Communication Studio | ||
|
The Mass Communication Studio provides a mock-up environment for students learning about narrative and documentary film production. When students work in teams to produce a short story or documentary, they get to see and feel for themselves the equipments available. As a mock-up studio, the basic facilities such as prosumer camera, handycam, boom-mike, redhead lights, chroma-screen - allow the students to acquire the necessary hand-on experience after attending theory lessons on film and documentary. The students will have a better understanding and appreciation of the practical processes invovled in film and documentary making - from idea conceptionalisation, planning and scripting, shooting, editing as well as the distritbution and promotion of narrrative or documentary film. |

Classrooms All the classrooms and all the computer labs at our main campus are equipped with ceiling mounted multimedia projectors. This has become essential as we have moved towards using PowerPoint presentation as one of the primary means of lesson delivery for proprietary courses. Portable multimedia projectors are also available for lecturers to loan out if the classroom has no ceiling mounted projector. There are also laptops available for lecturers to loan out for teaching. Computer Rooms There are 7 computer labs with a total of over 150 PCs installed with Linux, Windows 2000 & Windows XP Pro platforms. All PCs are connected to the Internet and Local Area Network. There are System Administrators providing support to the computer labs from Mondays to Saturdays between 8.30am to 7.30pm. |

Food & Beverage Training Room The food and beverage training room is located on the sixth level of the campus. This is where hospitality and tourism students cultivate their skills in the elaborate and fine areas of table setting and serving. Students will learn everything to do with the service, operations and management pertaining food and beverage and hospitality and tourism industry. |

Other Rooms In addition to the classrooms, the hospitality courses utilize mock-ups of a hotel room and a bar/restaurant offering students the opportunity to practice in realistic situations. The psychology counselling school also gives students an opportunity for real hands on practice with a room set aside for counselling purposes. When the room is not being used for counselling, it is utilized by students for practice. |

|
The Cafeteria is conveniently located on the first level of the campus. This is the place where staff and students alike come together to indulge in a wide array of meals. The selection consists of Chinese, Malay cuisines as well as light snacks. The open concept of the cafeteria is perfect for discussions and meal time conversations.

|
Getting fit has never been easier, conveniently located on the fourth floor of the campus. The gym is equipped with weight machines, exercise bicycles and a treadmill that can be closely found within close proximity to supplement anyone’s cardio or weight training exercise regime.

| Student Lounge | ||
|
After a long day of hard work and studying, the student lounge is the perfect place for students to relax and interact with their peers. Lined with wooden flooring and comfortable furniture, the student lounge offers a cozy atmosphere for students to indulge in their daily extra curricular activities outside the classroom. Be it studying for an exam of just mingling with their peers, the student lounge is an excellent place for meet ups and the occasional exchange of new ideas.

| Staff Lounge | ||
|
The staff Lounge is conveniently located on the fourth floor of the building. This is the midway point for staff to meet up. The staff lounge is a diverse room which can be utilized for informal meetings or the occasional meal break. Colourfully lined walls and comfortable furniture makes this place a common favorite amongst the staff.

| E-Learning | ||
|
TMC has an e-learning platform, running on the Blackboard Learning Platform, featuring easy-to-use course management, online assessments, forums and online chat rooms available to all enrolled students. |

| Wireless Network | ||
|
TMC has set up wireless networks in both the Jalan Pemimpin and Peninsula Plaza campuses for both staff and student usage. Students can now access the online resources and do their projects in between lessons with our wireless facilities from anywhere within both campuses. TMC wireless networks are secured using WEP and MAC Address filtering. They are linked by a 2MB-leased line to the Internet.
Students can register to access our wireless network by filling out the Wireless Network Registration Form obtainable from the TMC Student Service Counter in either Jalan Pemimpin and Peninsula Plaza.

|
TMC eCampus is an e learning portal powered by Blackboard Learning Management System.
This is a user-friendly e learning platform which supplements the face-to-face learning environment. Students are able to access the platform at any time and any place that has an internet connection. Students are able to download lecture slides, supplementary notes, assignment papers, exercises; attempt online assessments; interact with lecturers and students in online discussion room. All TMC Diploma and Higher Diploma students are given personalised login ID to access TMC eCampus. |
