Welcome to TMC College.Since 2005, TMC College, an academic unit within TMC Academy, manages the GCE 'O' Level Preparatory courses for students who want to take the Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'O' Level examinations as well as admission tests to gain admission into Singapore government institutions.
TMC College provides a conducive and friendly environment for holistic learning. Our classrooms are equipped with modern technology and teaching aids. Endowed with a wealth of teaching experience, our dedicated and hardworking lecturers bring with them into the classrooms, a strong combination of academic rigour as well as first hand teaching experience from government and private schools. Our teachers follow the syllabus stipulated by the Singapore Ministry of Education closely.
TMC College and its teachers will strive to provide our students with an innovative curriculum and a learning culture that embraces good pedagogy while taking into account the cultural diversity and learning experiences of its student population. About the GCE 'O' Level
The Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) Examination is an academic qualification that examination boards in the United Kingdom and a few Commonwealth countries confer to students. The Ministry of Education, Singapore and the University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) are the joint examining authorities for the Singapore-Cambridge GCE O-Level examination.
The qualification is an internationally recognized standard of educational achievement valued by employers, education authorities and institutions of higher education throughout the world. While preparing for their ‘O’ Level examinations, students will undergo monthly classroom assessments leading up to their final examinations conducted by the Singapore Examinations and Assessments Board (SEAB). Students who have successfully completed the GCE ‘O’ level course will have a distinct advantage as they will have acquired a strong academic foundation that prepares them for higher studies worldwide. With this qualification, students have various options of progression to Polytechnics and Degree programmes, locally and overseas.
