| Welcome to TMC College.
Since 2005, TMC College, an academic unit within TMC Academy, manages the GCE 'O' Level Preparatory courses for students who want to take the Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'O' Level examinations as well as admission tests to gain admission into Singapore government institutions. TMC College provides a conducive and friendly environment for holistic learning. Our classrooms are equipped with modern technology and teaching aids. Endowed with a wealth of teaching experience, our dedicated and hardworking lecturers bring with them into the classrooms, a strong combination of academic rigour as well as first hand teaching experience from government and private schools. Our teachers follow the syllabus stipulated by the Singapore Ministry of Education closely. TMC College and its teachers will strive to provide our students with an innovative curriculum and a learning culture that embraces good pedagogy while taking into account the cultural diversity and learning experiences of its student population. Ms Rose Echon Hamid Rose has industry and work experience in teaching, training and media and communications. She was a Lecturer in Temasek Polytechnic where she taught Media and Journalism, and Business Communication. She was also a Section Head of Language and Communication at the Singapore Polytechnic, besides concurrently being a Manager of the Business Communication Centre. In the years 2005-2007, she trained government officers of Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar in Communication and Work Skills, for ASEAN Secretariat and the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She was also a Vice-Principal of an international school in Indonesia, and a Programme Director of a language college in China. In 2009, she was appointed by a Singapore government foundation to conduct training in Vietnam. She trained Vietnamese university lecturers on the teaching of Business English, Communication and Work Skills. Rose has a Bachelor of Arts and a Master in Business Administration. She holds a Teaching for Higher Learning certification, TESOL and ACTA, which certified her as an adult trainer and assessor. In 2006, she was awarded a Training Award and sent to the UK to learn about English language training programmes from prominent UK universities. |

Mr Benjamin Tok Mr Benjamin Tok is our English Language Lecturer for the GCE ‘O’ level programme. He graduated with a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistic and a Bachelor Degree of Science in Applied Psychology. He has a wealth of experience teaching the GCE ‘O’ level English language in private institutions. |

Mr Caleb Cheong Mr Caleb Cheong is our Senior Lecturer for English Language. He has vast experience in teaching students from diverse cultural-linguistic backgrounds both in the private education sector as well as in local government schools. He received his Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics.

Mr Ken Wong Mr Ken Wong is our Mathematics lecturer. He graduated with a Bachelor Degree of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and Post Graduate Diploma in Education in Physics and Mathematics. He has six years of teaching experience in local government schools and is experienced in the private education sector.

Ms Maria Lorilyn Flores Ms Lori Flores is our English Lecturer. She has a degree in Bachelor of Science in Education, with a major in the teaching of English. She has been teaching English for ten years to students from different countries and cultural backgrounds - Chinese, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Malaysian, Sri Lankan, Korean, Myanmar, and Thai.

Ms Ricci Loh Ms Ricci Loh is our Principles of Accounting Lecturer. She holds a Bachelor in Social Science with Honours and a Masters of Business Administration (Professional Accounting). She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Accountancy) and her research area is Corporate Social & Environmental Reporting. She has presented a research paper at the Conference of Accounting & Finance Association of Australian & New Zealand. Ricci has vast teaching experience in the private education sector both in Singapore and Australia.

Mr Thoo Chin Aun Mr Thoo Chin Aun is our Physics Senior Lecturer. He holds a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering and a Masters in Business Systems. He has 5 years of teaching experience in local government schools and extensive working experience in the private sector.

Mr Tong Foor Kong Mr Tong Foor Kong is our Principles of Accounting Senior Lecturer. He has taught Accounting at TMC Academy for 11 years from “O” level to Bachelor degrees. His credentials include a Bachelor of Accountancy (NUS), FCPA (Singapore), FCPA (Australia), and FCCA (UK).

Mr William Yeo Mr William Yeo is our Senior Lecturer for English Language. He holds a Bachelor Degree of Arts, a Post Graduate Diploma in Education and a Master of Arts. He is a very experienced English teacher, with extensive teaching experience in both the local Singapore government schools, and private institutions.
