Dear students Welcome to TMC School of Tourism, Hospitality & Culinary Arts. Achievement of proper hotel management qualifications can make your dreams come true and provide you opportunities to explore globally. We are proud to be one of the top ten private Institutes in Singapore. Hospitality and tourism are considered as one of the world’s largest industries. According to the UNWTO, by 2020, it will reach more than 1.6 billion tourists worldwide. Thus, it is expected to increase the number of employment opportunities only for the hotel accommodation sector at approximately 200 million by 2015. Singapore is one of the top international destinations, welcoming more than 10 million visitors and hosting thousands of MICE events year around. To guarantee service delivery for all these functions Singapore service sector will require more than 75,000 new employees by 2015 (by Singapore Tourism Board, 2009). TMC School of Tourism, Hospitality and Culinary Arts, established in 2006, under TMC Business School (now know as TMC School of Business and Law), became an independent school in 2010. The school offers variety of courses, starting from the basic skill-based courses up to degree level, suiting various fields of expertise in the hospitality, tourism, travel and culinary industries. We foster awareness among our students about industry trends and requirements. We provide individual attention to make their learning experience interesting and fun. We emphasize on creativity, innovation, decision making and problem-solving learning approaches to suit their academic needs. We also emphasized on skill based learning through our well-equipped modern-style fine dining restaurant cum bar, specialty guest room, front desk with opera property management system and culinary art studio. We are proud to have a strong team of full time lecturers with master degrees in various disciplines and strong industry exposures. TMC School of Tourism, Hospitality & Culinary Arts - The place to LEARN and EXPLORE
TMC School of Tourism, Hospitality and Culinary Arts, a division of TMC Academy, was established in 2006.
The School of Hospitality and Tourism has a professional team of dedicated full-time lecturers and part-time lecturers. They have proven years of professional teaching and industry experiences both locally and internationally. Most of them hold Masters Degrees in their subject areas, with managerial experiences in luxury hotels and fine dining restaurants.
At TMC School of Tourism, Hospitality and Culinary arts, you will go beyond the textbooks and able to acquire problem solving ability from real life experiences.
Our lecturers are approved by the Council for Private Education (CPE) and they must also be approved by our university partners for teaching.
