TMC Academy

I’ve only been here for a short period of time but I really like Singapore.
I like the good weather and the people as well. They have been very kind.

I chose to come to Singapore because it is an education hub.

I hope to get a good education here and was recommended to enroll in TMC.
My advice to other Russians is to study overseas if they can and to learn English.

Singapore gave me lots of chances to learn and to forge new bonds with people.

To study in Singapore at TMC Academy was the best choice I made. I had a new learning experience. Although it was my first time studying a business course, I gained a lot of knowledge – not just the theories but also how to practice them. TMC Academy allowed me to have many foreign friends from various countries. By joining the Performing Arts Club, I really enjoyed interacting with my fellow schoolmates. The Monash College program offered by TMC not only provided me with business theories, but also taught me how to apply the theories into various business situations through problem solving assignments. What makes TMC different is the professional support it provides students. It is equipped with a high-tech campus, with good infrastructure and professional staff and lecturers, giving students a good environment to study in. I have since graduated from Monash College with a Diploma of Business and have gained direct entry to continue my studies at Monash University.

What makes TMC different from other institutions? It's the professional support and learning environment. That's what I feel after nearly one year of study at TMC for my University of Greenwich BSc (Hons) in Computing Degree. I am very impressed with TMC's lecturers and admin staff. Not only do my lecturers provide additional study sessions, they encouraged me when I faced difficulties and helped me review my coursework. The admin staff are very friendly and willing to help students. And one important thing, nothing is perfect, so TMC is always willing to listen to its students’ feedback.

Psychology has always been of great interest to me! Learning about the biological and cognitive reasons for our behaviour and how to deal with people has definitely proven to be useful in day-to-day life as well as for my working environment. Taking this course in psychology has given me a wide variety of careers to choose since I can apply what I've learnt for any job, be it for counsellor, therapist, psychiatrist, mentor, social worker, child care-giver, teacher, sales & marketing, management, human resources, company advisor, or even to further my studies to be a doctor in any field. Psychology is everywhere, and learning how to understand and deal with people accordingly in any situation is a skill that will bring you to greater heights and will be very worthy for the rest of your life!

The best teachers are not those who know what to teach, but those who know how to make you understand and learn. That's what I've come to realise while studying here at TMC Academy. Our experienced lecturers made our lessons interactive and gave us hand-on experiences to learn and understand our topics very well. The condensed and precise structure of this programme gives us sufficient time to learn and graduate faster than ordinary colleges. In this growing and fast-paced world, this course has efficiently delivered and prepared us with the skills and knowledge to face the outside working world when we graduate. I'm glad and have no regrets in taking up this course for I've enjoyed every bit of it!! I'm sure if you have interest in psychology, you'll enjoy this course too!"
