Course Introduction

The Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level), or GCE ‘O’ Level in short, is an internationally recognised qualification that is designed to prepare students for academic progression and equip them with the skills necessary for employment.

The course is designed based on the examination syllabus provided jointly by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES), the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB) and the Ministry of Education, Singapore (MOE). This qualification is recognised throughout the world by many academic institutions and employers as an indication of quality in the syllabus and assessments.

Upon completion of the course, students will sit for the Singapore–Cambridge General Certificate of Education Ordinary level Examination which is conducted annually. The certification will allow students to apply for admission to polytechnics in Singapore and overseas institutions.
