Course Introduction

This course provides advanced study of the discipline, advanced research training and an introduction to psychological practice through studies in counselling, psychological assessment, ethical and professional issues. The content of the course is designed both for persons wishing to undertake suoervised psychological practice upon completion of the course and for persons wishing to pursue more advanced postgraduate training at masters or doctoral level. This course can be completed part-time within 2 years.

The course has been approved as a fourth year of study in psychology by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council.

As part of the programme, students are required to attend residential schools once in each semester during the 2 year course.
